Antique Indian Wooden Garden Bench

Very Good Condition. Antique beautifully carved Indian wooden bench, with vintage handpainted ceramic tiles with floral designs embedded in backrest and armrests, and brass hardware. Decorative hinges on armrests allow the backrest to be flipped over to the other side, so that the sitter(s) can choose which direction to face. Purchased by the seller from an Antiques Dealer in Delhi, India. According to the dealer, this antique bench was actually part of a garden swing and the hooks are still visible on the sides of the bench. Modern users sometimes devise ways to hang it from a fabricated swing bar with side pillar posts. Others use it as an indoor swing hanging from the ceiling.
