Paras Perez won the first prize in painting in the 16th Art Association of the Philippines (AAP) Annual Painting Competition for his painting “Ethereal Glow”. What was unique about this win was that he used canned spray paint. This 1996 framed, very limited edition of 16 stencil artworks uses spray can paint, a medium one can say a Filipino artist pioneered in the 60’s, way before Banksy!
