Acrylic Artist's statement: The painting portrays a distorted portrait of an old farmer. It has a glitch style designed to show the hardships that he endured in secret. Many in society forget that farmers like him have contributed the most to our economy and yet they are treated like they are a nobody. The glitch effect is a representation of the unfair society that we are living in right now.
